Trump can’t kill the Epstein story
A loss tonight, and a story that won’t go away
Tonight Rep. Thomas Massie, a Kentucky Republican who had stood up to President Trump on the Epstein files and other matters, was defeated in a primary. The victor, Ed Gallrein, had Trump’s seal of approval.
Going after Massie was another front in Trump’s campaign to bury the Epstein story. The Iran war might well have been another.
But the public doesn’t have to follow the president’s wishes. Indeed, it shouldn’t.
The Epstein story demands investigation, accountability, and uncompromising justice.
Tonight we’re reposting all five of our “Epstein Class” chapters. Spread them far and wide, so that Trump’s attempt to kill this story will remain just that — a vain attempt.
As the series argues, this was not just about depraved acts by one depraved man. This was about a vast operating system of power, one in which Trump was a major node.
