Hello from the road! I’m in Boston today, preparing to speak at the Brattle Theatre in Cambridge tonight. The road can be grueling, but also so fun. And then you get lovely little hotel-room podcast chats with folks like Wajahat Ali. I loved how much we laughed, at the outset of a hard discussion.
A few practicalities, while I have you.
If you’re in New York, come to a very special (free!) event I’m doing at the New York Transit Museum in Brooklyn on Thursday (October 15). This one is especially for all the transit nerds out there. We’ll be talking about public transit as this space in America that ends up absorbing so many of the failures of other institutions and holding people whom no one else will hold. Joining me will be amazing clinicians, city officials, and other experts. Register here.
And a few other upcoming dates to come say hello. I continue to love meeting you all!
Calgary this upcoming weekend. St. Louis on October 20. Brooklyn on October 28. Westchester County, NY, on November 7. Miami on November 21.
And if Wajahat only whet your appetite, at the risk of oversharing, some other fantastic chats I had the privilege of having.
