I am baffled by how the dems/left or whatever you want to call us can't figure out a path forward. It's not about bashing Trump, incessantly ranting about this that or the other thing he's doing. That's thin intellectually and only plays into Trump's MO and tortured psyche.

We need the equivalent of Project 2025. Better ideas SIMPLY communicated and why they're better for our country, especially for those on the right. Every issue...immigration, defense, foreign policy, trade, guns, health care, education, etc. Point by point what are our ideas for a better future on all these? Pretty much every move by Trump is in Project 2025.

Let's quit bitching and get to work on a playbook for 2028.

I like and admire Greg Casar. I met him when he was on the Austin City Council. I was working at the Austin Symphony and he participated in our community engagement program, Tuneful Tales. He read a book called Mole Music while the ASO String Quartet performed. He was charming and enthusiastic. He is smart, practical, and genuine. I hope he takes on a leadership role in the Party.

I think some of our reps and senators have forgotten who they really are. They have been cautious for so long they don't know their authentic selves.

One thing that's changed is the difference between the Sunday talking heads shows, with a 3-5 minute interview and hitting your talking points, compared to an hour or two on a podcast. It's like going from silent films to talkies. Some simply couldn't make the change.

So we get rid of big money, which I agree with, where does our money come from. Unfortunately many Dems are small business, retired, middle to lower income. How do we compete???

So how do we support a party that wastes time with pushing out David Hogg and Malcolm Kenyatta as well as spending $$ on learning how to talk with young men? I can't give my dollars to the DNC.

Biden would have been more successful and done more for the working class were it not for Manchisema.

The Democratic Party pushed out David Hogg. He suggested the same idea of the best person for the job. What's up?

Ummm... good energy, but naive Dems have said this for years

Yes, and now we have to start saying it to the long-term business-as-usual Dems regardless of age! We can't dump and silence the enthusiasm and energy when that's so badly needed!

We may not get what the trads (the politicians as well as the voters) are comfortable with, but that IS NOT WORKING!! IMO a great deal of our strength as a party is the Diversity -- you know, One of Those Bad Words!
