I wanted the dem reps to throw their shoes!!!

Please contact me at mek5050@aol.com. I live in Newburgh and I want to be involved. I wanted the Dem reps to boycott. The old rules do not apply.

No “crisis mode” switch is my new descriptor for the Dems. My heart is breaking, I’m scared, and I find myself crying often and I’m not a crier. 💔

I am less concerned about Green being removed as much as I am about how little support he got from his colleagues. It was shocking. Democrats just sitting there looking stupid and ineffective. They should have acted up and gotten thrown out one by one. DAMN.

That’s what I think they should have actually planned!! That a predetermined set of 4-5 would get up, shout LIAR, & then walk out every 5-6 minutes.

Yeah they should have made the speech a non stop protest.

Fort Collins unsettled by no options for stopping cuts to social security staff n offices before they do it. Why not storm the Oval?

The Secret Service would stop you. You can protest outside the WH but you can’t storm the Oval Office

Rhetorically. Saying they need an intentional appointment with Trump now. Have you seen any meeting there? Dem leadership on the sofa?

Nope, hell he probably won’t meet with them

OK let's go on weekly local protests. Love it. Consider it a movement and self-care. Meetup might be one way to coordinate. Please share ideas on how to coordinate.

St Paul/Minneapolis, Minnesota. Very activated and restless - so much to say, so hard to be concise. I'm working at getting my people to act and not protect their mental health, which is what I hear from too many. And LOL, I am a mental health therapist! I greatly appreciate the motivational energy I hear on your stack - thank you Anand.

Thank you for doing this. I regret I was not awake early enough to ask to join in live. Putting that aside, here is what I'm doing:

I know it's important to BOTH stop what is bad and know what we need to start that is new and good. This is classic innovation / system redesign theory. (See W. Edwards Deming, Buckminster Fuller, Russell Ackoff, others). I opened the Route 66 Spirit of America Museum in Stroud, Oklahoma in 2023. And I am leveraging its mission: give people hope by teaching about the innovators who have given us the progress associated with the American dream throughout history and can STILL GIVE US PROGRESS going forward. While I am fighting against the gaslighting from the GOP (and the spineless responses from the Democrats and mainstream press) - posted comments on Sen Lankford's Facebook statement "America is back!" and was happy to see many other Oklahomans angry at him as well - I am beginning to offer people hope through knowledge of what we can build when this shit show is over (assuming freedom of speech survives and we don't wind up locking up university professors, like Mao did in China). Here is my new substack newsletter. I invite you to join me in this conversation for the future... through better systems design theory where the foundational belief is "We can all make it. It does not have to be 'you or me' zero sum world."... while we also fight to survive this fascist movement...

(P.S. I recently had Covid and that slowed down my writing. A new post is coming soon)

Yeah, it’s really hard to watch him talk, I couldn’t watch more than a couple minutes of the zalinsky moment, and I agree with anand - I saw the thunderous applause from conservatives- it felt so unreal and like North Korea. I said that to my colleague.

It certainly did look like Kim Jung Un’s citizens, who must applaud Dear Leader or maybe get sent to a work camp, or have their family’s food ration cut. Disgusting
