I understand and respect this analysis of joining around what we have in common, and abstract from the particularities that separate groups. Let me say I'm a Black woman. I think that strategy may be effective to some extent, but the history of what has gone down here and lives systemically will not go away in this. Unless more people understand the embedded harm based on institutionalized supremacy that informs everything, I think we will be half-stepping. So, I think if people are clear about this in employing this strategy, it has a shot, because as you've said this stuff is very complex.
