Yes, I’m in. I’m subscribed to the Ink and to Corbin’s America’s Undoing. I’m supporting other independent media too. Trying to support as much as I can on Substack. Yes we all need to be doing what we can to support the changes we need going forward.

It isn’t Trump, it is Project 2025.

It isn’t national politics, it is nationalized religion.

Loved this! I’m in Franklin, TN, but grew up in Knoxville. My Dad was an engineer at Y-12 in Oak Ridge. Big fan of Corbin! So thrilled to see him get this exposure on your Substack! I’m currently trying to get him to run for Senator, Governor, The House…ANYTHING in TN.

Thank you for this interview! I was 100% engaged and excited by what Corbin is doing and what he has to say. I am a subscriber— and I would say to everyone watching— Hell yes, you need to subscribe!!! Best few bucks you’ll ever spend!

After reading the post earlier today by Corbin, and listening to this interview — I can begin to see a trajectory out of the crisis we face today—- and it feels liberating!

Thank you!

Watch Ken Burns’ documentary “The Roosevelts”. Trump et al hate poor people. FDR shows how to overcome that.

WOW!!! One of your best yet, Anand. I highly value what you are doing and share it widely. And, I have become a subscriber to many other independent media people after discovering them through you. I am truly grateful.

Fantastic, enlightening, encouraging interview. I'm so glad to learn of Corbin and will be looking more deeply into his ideas and movement, and sharing all that with my family and friends. Such good work, so important, by both of you. And yeah, I've been an paid subscriber to The.Ink for a couple years now. Onward.

I’m in. I subscribed because I read one of your books and thought if only you knew the work I’ve been doing in education for the past 30 years, you’d understand our way back. Education is our deep state. I explain it in my teacher’s memoir A Graver Danger. This is where the fascists started and worked their way up. Abraham Lincoln said, “The philosophy of the school room in one generation will be the philosophy of government in the next.” He was right. That’s why you need to know me, a teacher determined to expose that education is the deep state by taking you deep inside where you’ll see there’s no way we could keep a democracy with these schools.

YES, your one on one discussions are my favorite of any substack. I support and will continue to because you are offering something truly unique in your conversations. Different ideas that provide hope. Keep up the good fight.

Beyond his thoughtful, incisive analyses, Corbin Trent always comes across as so likable and personable, whether he's talking to someone he agrees with or someone he disagrees with. It's a rare quality and the best kind of presidential. If we still have free elections in 2028, I think Corbin Trent should run!

This is brilliant! You two are voicing 'what to imagine' in a concrete new age for Life, Liberty and Pursuit of happiness! Beyond Republicans, MAGAs, Democrats, Libertarians, Greens and the almighty Wall Street profit as a Happiness outcome. That has failed, not the Spirit of our Republic.

I hope you'll connect with other like-minded interviewers on Substack, getting this topic in front of greater audiences. (Katie Couric, Katie Fang, Lev Parnas, Zev Shelev, etc) Thank you both!!

"Media is always paid for by somebody."

I'm among the last of the boomers, so I never, ever thought about this as I grew up with commercials for Life cereal and Irish Spring soap. Media seemed generic. Cable bills made the idea more salient--same for streaming. But I still didn't get what was behind things like what kind of programming is offered, what questions get to be asked on talk shows--I didn't think to concern myself with the editorial part until SubStack.

"Media is always paid for by somebody."

The reason I subscribe to this publication is because you have a way of distilling enormous ideas into portable frames that I take with me after I log off. It's the same reason that, when I was trying to cull the crazy number of paid SubStacks I subscribe to, this one landed in the essential pile. Can't drop it. Your conversations and writing light up a different part of my brain, and that in turn gives me at least a chance to make sense of this larger...everything. So thank you.

About to head over to America's Undoing, which, based on its title alone, I would never have gone near had I not watched this interview.

Absolutely for supporting independent media and subscribe to several substack newsletters. However, I find the Ink to be the most mind expanding on diverse subjects as well as taking controversial positions, asking questions that need to be asked! Thanks for keeping us informed and stimulated Arnad and your hardworking staff.
