Disappointing but not surprising. Still amazing to me how determined Trump's supporters are. Even when his administration is actively damaging what they claim to value the most. And, the number of people who refuse to recognize the futility of cooperating with a bully. Given the many examples of what happens when people give in to Trump's demands, I can't think that providing more information will be helpful.
It is consistent with what he said in front of journalists with press passes and reported that he could see himself as president for life. It is a sign of instability in government suggestive of his need for the presence of his followers at rallies. His larger-than-life personality is what some see as branding as a businessman in politics. He will not leave the White House with a legacy of being an elder statesman whose team makes for a generation in the beginning of a career become more knowledgeable and more professional, as well as accountable. His domestic policies have more in common with that of Alabama governor George Wallace and should he been elected president, it would be as bad if not worse than what income to the cost of living inclusive of income inequality.
Interesting to hear from the different people— Most have very practical concerns, understandably. However, not one person said they are going with Zohran. That is disappointing. He is great. He needs to really get himself known in all these boroughs.
Why are you in this conversation with an entire article, unrelated, pumping your own substack? Dude, don't be a user like Trump. (Apologies if I'm missing something here, but this sure seems weird!)
Have any comments about this article, you know, the one in the.ink substack?
So interesting to hear from a sampling of New Yorkers. Thank you. I look forward to more of these.
Come on NYC! We can do better than Cuomo. No more tarnished men. I like Brad Lander. Affordable housing & child education, amongst other things.
These answers are disheartening. Surprised at how many want to get along with trump?
