I think that like Barack, she needs to write her own autobiograpy and this outline is a fabulous start. Had Sanders taken her advice, history might have been very different.

Anand, you are one of my heroes and I am so grateful for what I have learned from your stories and interviews. Alexandria reminds me a bit of myself and a lot of my daughter who is in the process of completing their doctorate in education in NYC. I am now 78 years old and came from a lower middle class family but persevered over many years to become a Family Lawyer. Most of my clients were poor so I didn't make a lot of money but my work gave me satisfaction that money could not buy. My child also fought their way through her tertiary education. Starting off as a journalist she worked in China for three years to pay for her Masters from LSE. Then she won a scholarship and fellowship at one of top graduate schools in NY. It was hard for me at times and I think even harder for my baby. They coming home next month after 5 years away from home (in South Africa) My musician hubby and I can't wait to see our child again. We are so excited. I will keep your articles on Alexandria for them to read when they get home. Alexandria's story has been an inspiration to me. Thank you. Theresa Avenant.
