Sec. Buttigieg: "But more generally because I think those toxic impulses are less likely to take root if you're not just sour about your country and your economy." I agree and I'm also so very tired of those who peddle anger and hatred to grab power and make money (more donations, clicks, merchandise sold, book sales, etc.). It's obvious that Sec. Pete is intelligent, a good speaker, a gifted diplomat as well as someone who knows when and how to listen. I hope he runs for the Senate at some point as his talents are needed, as well as his youth.

Pete always breaks things down in an honest, strategic, and cogent way.

I just listened to this interview. This was an outstanding interview - you did an extraordinary job of asking the Secretary questions in a way that got to some core issues about how he works. The only thing I would have liked more of, is how he's really addressing the issues in the skies - so much has happened during his watch, from issues with airlines to BOEING, which now may be somewhat resolved with the hiring of a engineer as CEO. Still great interview. - A Shaker Grad

I certainly hope that Secretary Pete will be president one day! He always struck me as the smartest one in the room!

Democracy will win in November because of superior people involved in the office of this presidency. There are more registered Democrats in battle ground states than republicans so get out there and vote!

there's a transcription error toward the end which is unfortunate enough to warrant some nitpicking -- "beating" the kids vs. "feeding" them. otherwise: thank you for the great conversation !
