This comprehensive report is awesome. I have been sharing it with family and friends. Even if one cannot be present at a protest on Saturday one can still help by supporting those who will be there. Everyone needs to keep protesting in whatever manner they are able to. Write, email, phone, donate and if possible attend a protest in person. Stay safe everyone. Truth is on our side. We have the power to make a change for the better.

I cannot attend today's call, but I urge all those living outside of Southern CA to remember this is an area that has gone through the trauma of the massive fires, trying to rebuild, needing day laborers who are afraid to go outdoors. Overlay that with generational trauma for those who escaped someplace else in the world (both documented and undocumented), the frustration of dealing with a petty autocrat, as well as an East Coast media that seems for the most part not to understand this, is beyond frustrating. Nothing is ever black and white.

Was the book club meeting yesterday recorded? I wasn't able to attend it live.

I hope that everyone who is able to, will be at a local No Kings protest. I'm 74 and I'll be at my local protest in a Red state. They're expecting around 2,000 people and that's just the number who've submitted an RSVP.
