I'm not good with crowd size but there was a HUGE turnout in Anchorage Alaska, followed by a march to the legislative offices. A group of us deliver Public Opinion Messages to our congressional delegation every Monday afternoon (Pack the Offices). There were events in at least 17 other locations (some with as few as 750 residents) across the state today. Not bad for a red state with no Democratic representation.
Attended the downtown Chicago action as a volunteer legal observer for the National Lawyers Guild. Huge crowd, intense but channeled energy and anger. Warmed my heart.
Attended the Hands Off protest in Princeton, NJ. -- felt good to be part of a community taking action. The protest signs were so creative and covered every topic imaginable. Dogs and children were even carrying signs. I feel invigorated and exhausted. The only thing missing was music. I think that would have added another layer to the event.
Love the animal protesters carrying signs! Suggestion from an old lady who protested for choice as a teen with my mom in the 70’s: make a protest playlist to enjoy.
Every protest needs kids playing bucket drums! Wonderful. We had several hundred people turn out for Hands Off at the Capitol in Helena, Montana today. Great speakers and music (Jason DeShaw singing "This Land is Your Land") the first hour; then they opened the mic for anyone to speak, and tens of folks of all ages got up to speak their piece.
200,000 at the Washington Monument!
It was powerful and moving to be with my neighbors in Amherst Mass today, too. Let’s keep doing this! Thanks for your post, Anand.
Agreed-I marched in Detroit then stood and waved in my town, Ann Arbor. Good to be with people who don’t suffer fools and fascists gladly.
Should have come to Northampton first!
2500 in Duluth, Mn. In 32 degrees weather with a wind chill of 25 degrees. That’s about 3% of Duluth’s population. Our AG spoke among others.

This is wonderful! I grew up near Fairbanks AK--wonder how big the crowd was there?!
I don't know but there was even an event in Healy!
I love that!!!\
Small town Littleton NH was packed with at least 500 people, energy, hopefulness and community.
200+ in New London, NH!
My daughter was at the Beacon rally and surprised to see so many folks :-)!
Thousands showed up here in Philly.

We had 600 at our rally in Loveland this morning! Thanks for sending this, Annand!
Huge gathering in Santa Cruz, CA!
Approx 3000 at the state capitol in Augusta, Maine! Woohoo!
So good to hear! We had 400 people in Norway, ME!
Fabulous! Elbows up!

Free America movement
My little NH town (population 4,400) had almost 200 people in the rain and sleet!
Huge Crowd in St. Paul Minnesota. It is inspiring to see how many Americans are fed up.
It was so inspirational!! Chilly winds didn't deter anyone's enthusiasm.
Thousands of Long Islanders showed up at the Mineola Courthouse today to protest against Donald Trump, Musk and the GOP congress…it was empowering!

Fantastic. Let the People speak and be Heard!
