It was powerful and moving to be with my neighbors in Amherst Mass today, too. Let’s keep doing this! Thanks for your post, Anand.

Agreed-I marched in Detroit then stood and waved in my town, Ann Arbor. Good to be with people who don’t suffer fools and fascists gladly.

2500 in Duluth, Mn. In 32 degrees weather with a wind chill of 25 degrees. That’s about 3% of Duluth’s population. Our AG spoke among others.

I'm not good with crowd size but there was a HUGE turnout in Anchorage Alaska, followed by a march to the legislative offices. A group of us deliver Public Opinion Messages to our congressional delegation every Monday afternoon (Pack the Offices). There were events in at least 17 other locations (some with as few as 750 residents) across the state today. Not bad for a red state with no Democratic representation.

Attended the downtown Chicago action as a volunteer legal observer for the National Lawyers Guild. Huge crowd, intense but channeled energy and anger. Warmed my heart.

Attended the Hands Off protest in Princeton, NJ. -- felt good to be part of a community taking action. The protest signs were so creative and covered every topic imaginable. Dogs and children were even carrying signs. I feel invigorated and exhausted. The only thing missing was music. I think that would have added another layer to the event.

Love the animal protesters carrying signs! Suggestion from an old lady who protested for choice as a teen with my mom in the 70’s: make a protest playlist to enjoy.

Thousands of Long Islanders showed up at the Mineola Courthouse today to protest against Donald Trump, Musk and the GOP congress…it was empowering!

Every protest needs kids playing bucket drums! Wonderful. We had several hundred people turn out for Hands Off at the Capitol in Helena, Montana today. Great speakers and music (Jason DeShaw singing "This Land is Your Land") the first hour; then they opened the mic for anyone to speak, and tens of folks of all ages got up to speak their piece.
