A necessary tragedy. Finally the party has a strategy. Let’s see if “The Media” give it appropriate coverage in context

Heart stopping blatant provocation from the anti-freedom Republicans must be met with solid resistance. Bravo to the Texas Dems who are showing all of us what strength can come from non-cooperation to stop clear attempts to destroy fair voting. Will we join them by not participating in Trumps charade of absolute power. Where is the clarion call from Dem leadership? Gov Pritzker? Gov Newsome? Who will step forward and organize a Gandian style strike across the country?

I am all for this. We are under attack and have every right under articles of war to defend ourselves by whatever means necessary. I'd love it if Pritzker called out the Illinois National Guard in defense of the Texas dems sheltering in his state.

There's no longer any need to secede. We effectively already have two countries.

The republicans have

crossed a red line in

every action since

Trump took office. Look

at the damage 7 mos

have done! Time to

definitely take off the

gloves and for

Democrats to fight back

with every tool they

have.

It is all out war. Blue states have the bigger GDPs for the most part, although Texas has a big one too. Let us get rid of federal taxes and rely on our states to support us. We will see how long they can create Republican winning districts if people have to rely on their states along to take care of everything.

“Going low” is part of that lame term used by cheerleader Michelle Obama: “when they go low…we go high.” That’s part of what’s cost us so much. This clinging to an imaginary high ground as determined by, of all people, the Democratic leadership. They just can’t represent that much corporate capital and have our best interests at heart. They can ACT enlightened but ultimately they are incapable of changing their stripes or the conditions of most Americans. 🤮

She's not using it anymore you may have noticed-she did not go to the inauguration this year, intentionally. She called out DJT frequently, no holds barred and on point in 2016-her honesty did not 'cost us so much' - had many more of us LISTENED TO BLACK WOMEN that ass wouldn't have been voted in then or now. Get it right.

I can only hope that the party will FINALLY step up, not only Texas Dems but nationally. Color me jaded...and certainly uncertain given their rank passivity and abjectly poor planning and maneuvering to date, especially given that they had Project 2025 in their hands for a long time. Unconscionable, honestly.

I fear that Newsome’s response is purely symbolic.

Could the competitive partisan gerrymandering become so outrageous and disruptive that—if a proper case came up—the corrupt SCt could rethink its decision that there’s no role for the judiciary in partisan gerrymandering cases?
