Kansas City had so many rallies on both sides of the state line! People had great signs, smiles and energy! I gathered signatures against gerrymandering. People are Fired Up.

Re: t. posting a king t. dumping shit on Americans from a fighter jet. This is unwell. And his cult followers in congress are unwell. There is no reasoning or negotiating with this pathology. They are too far gone into this madness of their own making. Our D. leaders need to recognize this and deal accordingly. History has shown us time and again how this devolves into a cultish insanity of those in power. We should be all the wiser knowing our history.

Great way to start my week! Thank you Anand!! I was in Boston which was huge, joyful, safe and inspiring but NYC sounded amazing!! 🤩 Love that all the kids were out! One little girl of about 6 was skipping through the waterless Frog Pond chanting at top volume “The Power of the People is Greater Than the People in Power!” Great lesson to learn at an early age!! 🥰

There are more of us who care about our fellow human beings than there are of the those who think that empathy is a sin. We will defeat the cruelty, greed and corruption.

It's a great essay Anand! And I think you're right! This felt like a story Trump really couldn't trump.

We were at our small county seat's rally and had a great turnout in this red area.

We are active participants in our local Democratic Party. When one of the event's organizers asked if I'd dress up as the inflatable Portland Frog, I jumped at the chance! ; )

I had to modify my costume a little to accommodate my short self so I could walk and dance. Had lots of photos taken with other attendees, so got to meet many other like-minded people. It was heartening!

We must resist, we must persist!

"the epidemic of bravery at work-ferocity with a smile" this MUST continue, we must sit-in, non violently, at ICE facilities EVERYWHERE. This ain't over by a long shot. Still thinking about Mario Guevara's letter from prison. I felt pride in my country for one day-it's been a very very long time.

I am really tired of the Democratic Party as a whole being called things like "insipid." Those descriptions are part of the problem.
