I mentioned in the book club session that there was a thread on Threads where people were complaining about Texas and Texans during the Flood saying things like the people of Texas deserve what they get, or everyone in Texas is stupid. We are not going to survive this moment if we treat Trump supporters with disdain, no matter how much we disagree with them, or how annoyed we are that Trump was voted back into office. Most Trump supporters, unfortunately, get their news from mainly one source, a source that has consistently deceived them. If there is finally a time, and maybe that time is now, when they begin to see how much they have been played by Trump and his cohort, that will be a great moment. Hate is never a solution.
